
CONDITIONS
OF HIRE
1.
A deposit of $200 is required to confirm your booking, 50% of
the balance is payable six weeks in advance at peak holiday periods.
2.
Fuel, LP gas, damage, lost items, late return or any additional
cleaning required will be deducted from the security bond.
The bond will be returned within five working days of the termination
of hire, less deductions applicable. Non- mixed groups attract
a double bond. All hire and any additional charge are payable
at the commencement of hire by CASH or BANK CHEQUE for BOND, but
HIRE CHARGE can be paid by Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa. (1.5% transaction fee applies to booking fees paid by credit card)

Cancellations must be made no less than 30 days prior to the booking
date to be eligible for a refund of deposit less the cancellation
fee of $50.
4.
Eildon Starline Houseboats will not refund money to the hirer
for any loss in the event of a problem arising during the hire
period which was due to circumstances beyond our control.
5. Calls for assistance to refloat or
rescue a boat, to assist pumping out or a refueling boat which
has run out of fuel will be charged for at any cost for running
of patrol boat and labour required.
6.
Under the Marine Act, the hirer must not allow prescribed equipment
to be used for purposes other than an emergency. This refers to
life belts, life jackets, fire extinguishers and any equipment
associated with the safety of the vessel. A heavy penalty applies.
7. Boats must be moored by 9:30am and
vacated by 10:30am on day of departure. Late arrival and departure
may be charged at $100 per hour.
8.
Household pets are prohibited due to Health Department regulations.
